Research vision

Ultrafast Photonics Laboratory (UPL) focuses on the cutting-edge research of optical information processing by exploring the fundamental limits of photonic devices on the aspects of operation speed and energy consumption. Semiconductor nano-structures have been fabricated and utilized to demonstrate very novel functionalities for the future highly integrated optical networks and quantum networks.
